2nd Holiday Middle School Classic Recap
The 2nd Holiday Middle School Classic, held December 6-8, 2024, at Germantown Friends School, was an unforgettable celebration of youth basketball, community, and sportsmanship. Powered by Shoot Basketballs NOT People and the Soles Foundation, this highly anticipated tournament brought together talented middle school teams from across the region, showcasing the next generation of basketball stars.
A huge thank you to Kee Vandaway, HH Visions, EE Philly, Brooke, and A.S.A Flicks for capturing the spirit and excitement of the event with their incredible photography. Congratulations to D-Up Academy, the tournament's first back-to-back champions, for their outstanding performance and determination on the court. Your grit and teamwork were truly inspiring! This year’s Classic was more than just basketball—it was about fostering unity, providing opportunities, and empowering youth. We can’t wait to see what next year holds! Our Shoot Basketballs NOT People coaches had an incredible experience attending the USA Basketball Coaches Academy in Atlanta for a special retreat! They had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the game, including coaches from USA Basketball, the NBA, and NCAA programs like Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, and Emory.
